We are ready and waiting for the last week of this IV Andalucía October Tour to start up tomorrow morning, here at Dehesa Montenmedio. This week we have a CSI3* and a CSIYH* running simultaneously. Classes will start up after the vet check, which will be in the covered arena 7, between 9:00 and 11:00, with stallions scheduled between 9:00 and 9:15.
This week there are 249 riders and 545 horses signed up to compete in the two events, with 173 / 414 in the CSI3* and 76 / 131 in the CSIYH* respectively.
Over the Tour we have once again seen some of the most respected riders and horses in the world, take to our arenas, alongside many up and coming new faces. The Olympic rider from Ireland, Cian O’Connor is a regular here at Montenmedio and has bought three new horses here, along with some of the riders he coaches; such as Anastasia Nielsen; Italian riders, Luca Moneta and Giampiero Garofalo; Spanish riders, Joel Vallés, Carolina Aresu and Sira Martínez, the youngest member of her Nations Cup team; Portuguese rider João Victor Castro and Columbian, Rubén Arroyave have all graced the slopes, not to forget recently arrived, Cayetano Martínez de Irujo.

As this Tour draws to a close, the installations will soon gear up again to celebrate the Local ‘Campeonato de Andalucía de Salto de Obstáculos’: the Andalucian Show Jumping Championships, from the 14th to the 17th of November.
Entrance to the showgrounds is free as is parking in the designated areas, we hope you will be able to attend, and enjoy the top international showjumping taking place.
