Jacob Hellström and ‘Charles’ have their second win in a row in the 7yr old class

Thibault Touron wins the second class with ‘Lolita’

Jacob Hellström from Sweden and ‘Charles’ win their 7yr old, 1.30 class yet again today in the grass, Hickstead arena. In this speed class they stopped the clock 66.83s. The next three places were taken by British riders; Ellen Whitaker with ‘Arizona d’Ive Z’ in just under a second slower; Chloe Winchester with ‘Goldenly de Melandrie’ and Jude Burgess with ‘Tina HP’.

 

In the other 7yr old class, French rider Thibault Touron topped the podium with ‘Lolita’ a new mare in this class. He also took fifth with ‘Krezus du Bois du But’, so a great day for him. In second was a familiar rider in the rosettes, the Indian Maryk Sahney with ‘Gold Run’; third was Brazilian, Filippo Ferrantelli with ‘Quintus VD Bisschop’ and Chloe Winchester was fourth with ‘Messarity PS’.

 

Jason Foley from Ireland, won one of the 6yr old classes with ‘Mister Rossi’; Polish Msciwoj Kiecon with ‘Rio VD Withoeve’ was second and Spanish rider, Alejandro Fernández Sánchez, third with ‘Colossus HD’.

 

In the other class the amazing Emma Stoker, who has really made an impressive mark across a plethora of classes here at the Andalucia Sunshine Tour, once again topped the podium this time with ‘Comme Ci Comme Ca’ in this 2PhSp class held on grass in the Guaraná Champeix arena. Second was Dutch rider, Bart Haselbekke with ‘Motega IS’ and once again, Msciwoj Kiecon, was on the podium in third, with ‘Troya L’.

 

The British winner of the first 5yr old class was Ronnie Jones with ‘Skylla’s Little Stevie’. Second was the Spanish rider, Juan Manuel de Jove Rodríguez de Torres with ‘Amarylis de Olid’ and third Irish rider, Nicholas Connors with ‘Jump the Gun’. Alejandro Fernández Sánchez also did well in this class fourth with ‘Sting VH Ruytinxbos’, and Emma Stoker took both fifth and sixth with ‘Secreto van het Netehof’ and ‘Doacatokia’.

 

The other 5yr old class was dominated by the British with the top three; Jude Burgess and ‘A Magic Mike Z’; Alex Bishop and ‘Nadal Van’t Asbroek’; Scott Dollemore and  ‘Fol Amour RD’, Irish Nicholas Connors was fourth with ‘Celone Z’ and again Emma Stoker was not to be left out, taking fifth with ‘Bozooka’.
