Marie Demonte wins the 8yr old class with ‘Ganache de Riverland’

Ruben Gomez Crespo is second with ‘Emeraude de Zabala’, third is Michael Hughes with ‘Tullibards Bennys Special’

Today, French rider, Marie Demonte was the very fast winner of the first 8yr old class of the fifth week of the Tour, with ‘Ganache de Riverland’ a mare, by ‘Vagabond de la Pomme’, dam sire ‘Vigo d’Arsouilles’.  A great start to her week at 30th Andalucía Sunshine Tour: an event is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of Andalucía, through Tourism and Sports of Andalucía. 

 

This talented pair stopped the clock in the second phase in just 24.90s, beating off the Spanish combination of Ruben Gomez Crespo who was also riding a mare, ‘Emeraude de Zabala’, by 'Emerald van’t Ruytershof’ x ‘Caprice de Waver Z’ who finished in 25.28s.  In third place was American rider, Michael Hughes with ‘Tullibards Benny’s Special’ who is owned by Stephex Stables and is by ‘Tullibards Benny’s Legacy’ x ‘Cavalier Royale’.  In fourth was Portuguese rider, Nuno Tiago Gomes with ‘Lois’ and in fifth was Swedish, Amanda Eriksson with  ‘Missi’.

 

In the seven year olds:  Brazilian, Yuri Mansur won the first class with ‘Helma Mouche’ (‘Candy de Nantuel’ x ‘Quartz du Chanu’):  second was Dutch, Micky Morssinkhof, with ‘Come Ci Come Ca’;  third, British Emma Stoker, with ‘Priskada’; fourth, Polish rider, Marek Lewicki, with ‘Dadi-Cellis’ and in fifth was British rider, Joanne Whitaker with, ‘Just Jack’.

 

In the other seven year old class the Irish took the top two places.  First was Niamh McEvoy with ‘BP Tiny Dancer’ (‘Plot Blue’ x ‘Concorde’);  second was Sean Monaghan, with ‘Tiberio Della Caccia’.  In third was British, Max Routledge with ‘Me the Rebel R.T.’ Fourth was Portuguese Molly Hughes Bravo, with ‘HHS Ice Flo’ and fifth was Michael Hughes, the time with ‘Ravaline van het Groeshof’.

 

 

In the first six year old class the top three were all British, Emily Ward with ‘Witchella HF’;  Emma Stoker with ‘Bozooka’ and Rebecca Middleton with ‘Billy Canopy’.  Fourth  was Spanish rider, Miguel Torres Garcia with ‘Inka Champeix’ and fifth Yuri Mansur with ‘Gitano VD Dassenheide Z’.

 

In the second class the top two places went to British, Jude Burgess, first with ‘Starcent’, and second with ‘Leestone Nicolas’. Third was Swiss, Peter Burri with ‘Sienna de Brandegem’ and American riders took the last two places,  Molly Hay with ‘Tangilo Wi Ro Z’ and Andrea van Scheltinga with ‘Erlina Tivoli Z’.

 

The five year olds had FnoT classes today and  27 horses jumped clears in both classes.
