The British rider Phillip Miller with Titan (Marius Claudius x Double Jeopardy) took the win in one of the sections of the 7yr-old class in a time of 24.91sec. In second place the Columbian rider Dayro Arroyave with Nestor Z, in 25.05sec; and in third place another British rider, Joe Whitaker and Fairy Tale in 25.12sec.
In the second section we had a British top two, Carron Nicol and Galerius (Diamant De Semilly X Sandro Girl) won in 22.93sec. This combination is already qualified for the final of the 7yr olds with seven clears. In second place, Spencer Roe on Gusto (Baltic Vdl x Chanson) in 24.14sec; and in third place Swedish rider, Jens Fredricson on Cosmopolit (Cohiba x Olida) in 26.40sec.
There are now 49 horses already qualified for the final of the 7yr-olds on the 21st of March. There are still three more opportunities to obtain qualifying clear rounds before the Finals.
In the 6yr-old class, 98 horses went clear from 155 entries. Amongst them were the Irish combination Richard Howley on Harrison (Numero Uno x Vera Eleen); the Belgian rider Max Verheyen on Helga-Utopia (Vdl Zirocco Blue x Smaragd); and the Spanish rider Luis Astolfi on Quiwiti.
In the 5yr-old class there were 56 clears from 104 combinations. Amongst the top riders were Alejandro Fernández on Dianvaro BF (ESP); Carlos López-Fanjul (ESP) on Nemo De Sauco (Diamant De Semilly x Janis Joplin) and the Italian rider Alexa Larkin on Vins VD Tojopehoeve Z (Vagrant Z x Uniek V.D.To-Jo-Pe).
