Team ‘Andalucía Rojo’ win gold in the Infants

The Basque team takes silver and Madrid-Cibeles takes bronze

Ana Castro Godlewska wins Infants with ‘Polidora’ and Vicente del Campo de Jove with ‘Contina del Maset’ the Infants*

Pablo Movellán López with ‘Centina de Maeza’ wins Juniors and  Carlos García Sánchez with ‘Coree’ the Juniors*, whilst Daphne Reyes Simo with ‘Kata SFM’ wins the Childrens

 

The Andalucían Federation’s team ‘Hípica Rojo’, chef d’equipe, Santiago Torres García was made up of Vicente del Campo de Jove with ‘Contina del Maset’; Carmen Bernal Medina with ‘Kiana de la Chapelle’; Carmen Caballero Den Haan with ‘Ilustre Yedra’ and Lucas Hernández González with ‘Carwyn HS Z’ and they were the winners, taking gold in the Team Championships, for both the  Infants and Infants* today here at Montenmedio. All team members had clears in the first round, and they were the only team to move to the second round on zero. In the end their final score was eight faults in a time of 224.45s.

 

The Basque team took silver and but it was a close run thing as they almost took the gold. They accumulated four faults in the first round and added another four in the second, coming out equal to the Andalucían team’s score but in the end their combined times were just a little slower at 227.59s winning them silver. Team chef d’eqiupe was Alberto José Navarro Servat, and the team was made up of Carmen Barinaga Mas with ‘Cancale’; Andrea Méndez Herrera with ‘Leonore H’; Luana Burgoa Arrizabalaga with ‘Ustinov de Brekka Z’ and Erik Hernani Ijalba with ‘Casalli’.

 

Taking bronze was the team,  Madrid-Cibeles made up of Daniel Torres Hernández with ‘Be Mylord de Glain’; Lucía Valeros Sánchez with ‘Vinca Jacob’; Mateo Gandara Alonso with ‘West Virginia de Vald’ and Lucas Morote Soria with ‘Carera des Brimbelles’ , their chief d’equipe was  Francisco Martín Díaz.

 

The individual places in this category went to Ana Castro Godlewska with ‘Polidora’ who was top of the podium in the second Infant qualifier; Rosa Daniela de la Huerga Nechaeva with ‘Fal’bala D’Aury’ was second and Luana Burgoa Arritzabalaga with ‘Ustinow de Brekka Z’, third.

 

Provisional Championship places after this second round: Rosa Daniela and Ana are in equal first, still on zero and Pelayo González Sánchez with ‘Askaro LP’ sits in third just a pole behind on four faults.

 

Vicente del Campo de Jove with ‘Contina del Maset’ was top of the podium in the first round of the Infants* followed by Javier Catalán Conde with ‘Gismo de Pravia’ and Lucas Morote Soria with ‘Carera des Brimbelles’. Carolina Sánchez Rosales with ‘Charlie de Lieghan’ and Carmen Barinaga Mas with ‘Cancale’ complete the top five results all on zero in the provisional Championship scores.

 

In the second qualifier for the Juniors, Pablo Movellán López with ‘Centina de Maeza’ was our winner for the second day in a row. He jumped a clear round in the Milton arena over the 1.30 course in a time of just 70.84s. Magdalena Segovia Guerrero with ‘Histoire D’Eole’ took second and Pilar Vinuesa Morán with ‘Balzac Varennes’ was third.  After this round there are ten riders still on zero in the overall classifications.

 

In the Juniors* Carlos García Sánchez with ‘Coree’ were once again on the top spot with a clear in 71.61s; second was  Haizea Garmendía Ajuria with ‘Conthargos Rouge’ in  72.64s, and who was fourth yesterday. In third was Uxue Arruza Rodríguez with ‘Clarin de Llamosas’.

 

After this second round Carlos García is still on the top spot of the overall Championship scores with zero, Haizea is in second with 1.81 and Lucas Barbera Restrepo, sits in third with 3.39 puntos with ‘Darma de Marie’.

 

In arena 8 Baloubet du Rouet, the first Children’s qualifier took place and the winner was Daphne Reyes Simo with ‘Kata SFM’; Alejandra Sánchez Rosales with ‘Cortina LVI’ was second and in third was Llara Vázquez Platas with ‘Cepillo’.

 

The Spanish Minors Showjumping Championships will continue tomorrow.with the second qualifier for the Infants* and the Children and also the Finals for; individual Infants, Juniors and Juniors* and also the Children’s Team Final.

 

The North & South Pony League results were: Ignacio Parias Astolfi with ‘Piston’ won the D section; 1.15m; Ella Andersen Avendaño with ‘Coolagh Lad’ won the D2 at 1.05m; Fabiola del Solar Enrique with ‘Remember’ won the C at 1m; Silvia Casado Recio with ‘Ipipipe Love de Ce’ won the C2 (0.90) and also the B section with ‘Azucena’ (0.80); Gabriela Herrero Gil with ‘Imaj du Maicomble’ was the winner of the Open 2 (0.75); Estrella Valderrama Chicón was first with ‘September 18’ fue primera in the B2 (0.70); Sara Ortega Aranda with ‘Dandy’ won the A (0.55); Elena Gallego Barrionuevo with ‘Caramelo’ won the A2 (0.50) and Marta Sastre Nieto with ‘Mickey Mousse’ won the Open 1 (0.50).
